Corona Virus Information
The health and well-being of our guests, our staff is of paramount importance. As we prepare to open our doors in July, we want to reassure all our guests that risk assessments have been undertaken and the strictest of cleaning and hygiene protocols are in place that meet Scottish government guidelines.
Inevitably, there are adjustments as to how we work, how we interact with our guests and colleagues, and how we maintain the high levels of service our guests expect. Be assured the welcome will be warm and your peace of mind is top of our agenda.
Ninth Wave Covid-19 Protocols
*We will greet you and serve you wearing face-masks and from a safe distance.
* We will keep the restaurant well aired (we have filtered air circulation system) and provide plenty of sanitiser and hand-wash for your comfort.
We ask our guests to follow these simple rules for their safety:
• Please arrive and depart exactly on your reservation time as this will aid guest flow.
• Please sanitise your hands before entering the premises. Hand sanitiser station will be outside the main doors and additional spray and soap can be found in the toilet.
*Face coverings are mandatory when entering and exiting Ninth Wave and when you are not seated at your table.
• Maintain a social-distance of 1 metres (3 feet ) between your household group and others when moving around the premises.
*Upon entering the restaurant, please stop in foyer at the “wait to be seated” sign, where we will greet you and escort you to your table.
The frequency of cleaning has increased in all our public areas with emphasis on high contact surfaces and common touch points like public bathroom, counters, door handles and seating areas. We are now using strong antimicrobial cleaning equipment and hand sanitisers. All high contact areas will be sanitised regularly and tables and chairs will be cleaned after each guest use. All card machines will be sanitised after each guest use.
We have taken time and care to lay out our restaurant seating in line with the one metre mitigated distancing. We will have important set times for guests to dine and we will escort you and your guests into the dining room ensuring 1 meter social distancing at all times. We will provide disposable (single use) menu pages in the restaurant and will sanitise covers after each use. Government guidelines advise that by July, we should be able to accommodate groups of up to 6 guests in one party providing they are from no more than 3 households.
*Please ensure you read the current Scottish government regulations on Covid levels and know that you are responsible for ensuring your dining party complies with these rules on the date you make your reservation for.
*For Track & Trace. we will require information regarding the customers’ name and a contact number. If your party are from one household, one nominated person can be the lead member of the group so only their details are required. Where there are more than one household in a dining party, these details must be given for each household. Please have the details on hand when making a reservation.
